In addition to being incredibly friendly and professional, Molly really impressed us with how detail-oriented and timely she was with updates, emails, and logistics when it came time to navigate signing a lease (in a condo building no less). We had a very specific idea of what we were looking for and even though they all came to be a tall order, Molly took each request/must have into account and went out of her way to seek out an apartment that fit all of our criteria.

Along the way, it was clear Molly had good relationships with various management companies and a very solid knowledge about our neighborhood of interest (UWS) and many others. We never felt discouraged during our hunt because Molly had such a positive attitude and was constantly finding and showing us new options as they developed.

I recently relocated to NYC for a job and made an amazing discovery in James Hall. This guy is great! I had previously worked with a few other agents because of my extremely short timeline (and over the Thanksgiving holiday, no less) and they left more than a little to be desired. To put it bluntly, they were unprofessional, pushy, unpolished, and by my estimation, had no useful knowledge of the NY market. You will find a lot of people in real estate here that are far below average at what they do because first they were a mechanic, then a bartender, then a swim coach, and then decided to try their hand at real estate. They are everywhere, so beware! I hate to have my time wasted and these agents do it in the most epic way possible.

Where most agents in NYC fail, James excels and exceeds expectations. By the time I began working with James, I had already seen upwards of 30 apartments that fell terribly short on my small list of must haves. For example, I have a dog and stated explicitly that I couldn''t have carpet in the apartment. This should be a pretty obvious one, but I still had agents showing me places that were fully carpeted and selling it as being a "luxurious upgrade." Are you kidding me? I didn''t even know places like that existed, but apparently they do. It doesn''t matter what requirements you have, other agents in NYC will show you the OPPOSITE of what you are looking for. But not James.

We had *one* conversation where I told him about my lifestyle, things I need in an apartment, work habits, etc and the FIRST apartment that he ever took me to was the one I ended up leasing. I looked at a few after that just to be sure I wasn''t dreaming because it was really too good to be true. Not only that, but he was amazing during the entire lease signing process. He always had time for my questions and never rushed me around like he had better things to be doing.

Everyone told me how difficult the NY market is, but it need not be if you have the right agent! It literally makes all the difference in the world and I wish I had found him on Day 1. If I could, I''d give James 10 stars for outstanding service!

Omer Shaish in August during my apartment search. Of all the brokers I worked with he was by far the best. He has a great eye for units and understood exactly what I was looking for and didn''t waste my time with listings that would never have met our criteria. Although I ultimately pursued a listing I had found on my own I would highly recommend Omer to friends looking for an apartment.
